A number of conditions may cause tissue to compress a nerve or nerves, including:

There are also some people who’s circumstance cause them to be more vulnerable to experiencing a pinched nerve, including those who are diabetic, pregnant, or require prolonged best rest.

Getting on the Path to Better Health

We’ll start by assessing your needs, such as looking at your posture and performing hundreds of tests. These evaluations are designed to get to the cause of your pinched nerve. When found, we will correct your structure as needed through manipulations. Tight muscles that are creating compression will be released. If ligaments are involved, they’ll be gently stretched.

Our patients typically respond quite quickly, seeing a resolution of an acute episode in 2-6 weeks. Subacute cases take about 3-6 weeks, while chronic cases take six weeks to three months.

Our team will also provide advice on maintaining good posture and how to incorporate strength and flexibility exercises into your regular exercise program.
