Laser Therapy

Avant Laser LZ30 Pro Z Cold Laser System

This device is equally suited for both pain control, inflammation reduction and healing.

The LZ30 Pro Z uses the highest quality laser diodes available and is a self-calibrated device so that you get the “optimum” amount of energy into a treatment area.
The Avant Laser is a TRUE LASER, fully compliant to the definitions set forth by those great men of science such as Bose and Einstein who predicted LASER in 1924 and the contemporary physicists Schawlow and Townes who brought LASER into the modern age.

LASER is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Light created in this way, is then culminated and directed into an intense beam of coherent light through the use of cathode and anode reflecting components in order to produce a single stable frequency. Each molecule, cell, tissue and organ have an ideal resonance frequency that coordinates its activities. By manipulating and balancing the vibratory circuits, complementary therapists are able to directly influence the body’s systemic defense and repair mechanisms.

Optimum Wavelength

There are thousands of Peer review research that supports optimal wavelengths for tissue repair and healing. In doing my research, I found that 630-640nm in Red and 808nm in Infra-Red wavelengths supported the greatest biological effects for laser therapy.

Therapeutic Laser Biological Effects

Anti-Inflammatory Action— Laser light reduces swelling caused by bruising or inflammation of joints to give enhanced joint mobility.
Stimulated Nerve Function— Slow recovery of nerve function in damaged tissue can result in “dead” limbs or numb areas. Laser light speeds the process of nerve cell reconnection to bring back motor and sensory innervation.

Pain Relief-Decreased inflammation and increased nerve function will inhibit both acute and chronic pain.
Increased Vascular Activity— Laser light induces temporary vasodilation increasing blood flow to damaged areas.
Faster Wound Healing— Laser light stimulates fibroblast development and accelerates collagen synthesis in damaged tissue.
Rapid Cell Growth— Laser light accelerates cellular reproduction and growth.

Increased Metabolic Activity— Higher outputs of specific enzymes, greater oxygen and food particle loads for blood cells and thus greater production of the basic food source for cells, Adenosine Tri-Phosphate (ATP).

Reduced Fibrous Tissue Formation— Laser light reduces the formation of scar tissue following tissue damage from cuts, scratches, burns or post-surgery.

When Should I use the last in Infrared Mode
Infrared (IR) mode is used for a therapeutic tissue response. Therapy will address the reduction in symptoms such as pain and inflammation. The light will be absorbed deeper in the tissue than the Red (R) light mode

faq-image
When should I use the laser in Red mode?

Red (R) mode is used for a rehabilitative tissue response. The cells in our bodies have been shown to communicate in the red light wavelength, which is one of the wavelengths the LZ30 operates at. In this mode, the laser is used to “normalize” cellular function. If the target tissue is not functioning normally (i.e., tight muscles), the application of the laser in Red mode will help to normalize the target tissue.

Laser therapy is not only dynamic treatment modality, but there are
NO side effects!
